    Oil Cooler

Couple of questions as this is the first time I have got one fitted on my car.

Does it matter if I stick it on its side on the NS of the rad

Do I need the inlet/outlet at top of bottom

How do I know which side is the inlet / outlet.

How do I get the oil around the system when the thermostat wont be open for it to go through the cooler, plus getting the air out of the cooler.

    Thank you in advance

    Re: Oil Cooler

one thing is have things pipe wise from above to avoid air locks etc.

inlet and out let... is their a set in and out? as rad/cooler internals are the same either way i thought.

anyway hope that small amount of typing helps

    Re: Oil Cooler

Found out need to run it up to temp then let the oil go through, I guess if I lay it down flat with the pipes going in at the top, once thats done I can then mount it sideways, im sure if seen 5s have the oil cooler placed there before.
