    The R 5 GTT market

    Just an observation....

Seems to be a lot of R5 GTT's up for sale at the moment. I counted about 10 on ebay today.

Rising prices encouraging people to get rid / cash in maybe? Winter approaching maybe?

Does it mean popularity is growing or declining..... discuss, if you can be bothered.

Re: The R 5 GTT market

I think some of it is down to the time of the year, going into winter people can't be bothered storing cars or dealing with the list of winter jobs that need doing, happens every year not just on Renault 5's but lots of classics.

Having said that when i was looking for mine in April there were next to none available and those that were were either top price or a bit of a project but i have noticed there have been lots up for sale lately

I think a lot to do with cashing in! Prices have steadily increased over the last few years, certainly where a sale becomes tempting for those who purchased the cars cheap.

Isn't it a bit high? Maybe just because of the 195/50/R15s?
    But amazing job!

I will keep mine as well, and I was offered 10 grand (€ though ) since I rebuild uprated engine from 2 different guys. ok I will create a topic in restoration now

In France, a mint one, ph1, or Ph2, low mileage with history could go up around 20k and raider (Alain Oreille french version named after the pilot) up to 25k, when one was up for sale, one owner only, FSH...
