would be good to see some rtoc attendance.. I presume this is like a car show whereby the standard of cars is sky high and if you dont fit the bill your not welcome.
Didnt even know this was on probably too late to arrange something now
This was the same show my Car was on the Meg's Stand last year. See HERE
I remember reading that when Stephen Dell of the RAOC looked into exhibiting at the show he metioned it cost something stupid like £3000 a car
Hence no RTOC attendance
just spoke to them and clubs are entered for free but we have missed this show but can be put down for the 2011 if we wanted too.....all we got to do is drop them a email
sort it out for 2011.. car shows are the nec are usually quite epic

To answer the original question posed in this thread, Big Willy's Clio Williams will be on the Meg's stand this year for winning the WSR 10 Best In Show & he's an RTOC Member!
See his post in this thread.
I think next door is the Top gear MPH show on at the same time too, If you get the MPH tickets you get into the classic car show free, but its not very well advertised. Tickets are 45pound though
Got a response from the Classic Car Show already!
Hi Steve
Paul has forwarded your email on to me for attention.
Car Club allocations normally take place around March/April each year. If you wish to apply for a stand you will need to request an application form either at the show this year or straight after the event.
There is a great demand for club stands but we do like to encourage new clubs to participate. The stand space is free of charge and the size of the stand is dependant on how many cars you wish to exhibit.
The exhibit cars need to be in place on the day before the show opens. For example: Build up day Thursday, open days Friday, Saturday & Sunday. All cars can be removed as soon as the show closes on Sunday night.
I sincerely hope the above information helps.

I wouldn't fancy being the one to have to whittle that list down to the few cars we'll be allowed though.
Easy? Ok :-)
Suppose my T2 could be available if it fits in? i wont be offended if it doesnt
I have attended 4 classic car shows this year quite funny when i turn up in the dimma. Some of the looks i get when i turn up
well done steve and Ian,
I said we should go to this years ago as its a HUGE untapped show! plus the renault parts that I found there a few years ago was amazing
but it looks like the club is finally opening its eyes that there is more to life than maxpower
I would check the details with them as the stand 'space' maybe free (like most exhibitions offer) but they may charge you for a 'stand' or you will have to pay an external company to 'build' you a stand there, just my experience from organising exhibitions.
Yes - please come and support our car this year! RTOC stand in the future would be an excellent idea but as people say, how you keep everyone happy who may want to attend will be a challenge...
you will prob just have to two list one main one and a reserve just in-case someone has to drop out
im sure members will appreciate that we cant have the hall too ourselves and just rotate it next year or you could have a little contest at one of the National days....??? just an idea
just alittle point
are we or are we not the renault turbo OC?
so perhaps we should get a 9 or 11 on the stand??????? or even that mint 25v6 that keeps coming up on piston heads and ebay
Or maybe a Gordini turbo, or even a Megan 225?
gordini or T2, as both always draw a crowd!
Megane might be a bit new for the show! ;-)
One OE example of each would make for a good display .
Just booked our tickets for the NEC and had a peep at there flickr pics from last year. A nice Raider was there Hope the links work

A Few pics from the NEC classic car show
Love the Nova Sport - very rare car!
http://www.migweb.co.uk/forums/proje...ova-sport.html
Thats a lot of effort gone into that car
Nuts, bolts, brackets, brake pipes, boot lock etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
Better condition than out the factory.............say's at the end about it being parked up in a dealers - Best place for it
my dad had one when i was a kid(unfortuanly i was to young to remeber) but says it was a quick car at the time.do they have around 100bhp
The Nova Sport, whilst looking a fantastic piece of work, was not entirely as it seemed....
The guys who were on the main Vauxhall owners club stand said it had been rebuilt using a green shell from a 1.0 standard Nova, therefore chassis numbers etc. do not tie in with the orginal build numbers for the Nova Sports....
However, before my legal team get involved, this was only comments from the Vauxhall guys.... They had Nova Sport chassis number 1 on their stand but it was nowhere near as clean as the rebuilt example on the Meguiars stand.
looks tidy enough to me, who cares what numbers are on it? It's a nova

We had one of those lancia montecarlo's in for awhile at ours, was sat at his home so long callipers had all seized(alluminium callipers) when he drove it to us it melted all the brake flexis and had no brakes, took ages to get bits off the owners site.
Lovely looking car, sounded great, built like a tvr and dissapointing to drive
