Re: staffs/cheshire new year meet/rolling road day
Well im gonna say a massive thanks to blunty for a great day.:agree: And it was really good to put names to faces. happy with my results at 184bhp and 184 lb tq but need to fit afr g and re-drll needle valve as fueling was great up to 5.3k then bottomed out of fuel. :sad2: but on the plus side of things it was only running 17psi. so loads of room for improvement. :D ps roll on the next rr day.

Re: staffs/cheshire new year meet/rolling road day
Good job organising blunty, thanks :)
It was good to talk with pip gardner afterward too. Nice to talk with a tuner that knows what he's talking about and who doesn't feel the need to fill conversations with BS like so many others. Real nice dynapacks dyno, only 25mins from me and I didn't know it was there.

Re: staffs/cheshire new year meet/rolling road day
Was a great day, really nice to catch up with everyone. Thanks again Blunty for organising the day. Good turn out too :D

Re: staffs/cheshire new year meet/rolling road day
Had a good day , catching up with old people i know and meeting new ones. Well sorted blunty.
Bit gutted that my clutch started slipping 2 weeks ago and i could only manage a stable run at 14psi ... got a feeling theres a bit of oil on it as on way home it improved and started holding more boost ... Just the way things go ...
think i will be looking at paddle clutch next :)

Re: staffs/cheshire new year meet/rolling road day
Fantastic day out - really enjoyed it! Shame we had a few issues with roads being closed, but we got there in the end
Great to meet some new faces and also catch up with some old school memebers ;) We even managed to have a spot of lunch at a local cafe, which was nice. I just wish I brought my GTT along now, but never mind. It certainly renewed my enthusiasm for the cars :agree:
Big thanks to the organiser :agree::agree::agree:
Roll on the summer for the NW RTOC karting event - watch this space.......... ;)

That was only at 4000RPM, because we abandoned the run due to the AFR going to about 16 :crap:. The engine is standard.. standard turbo, standard boost, etc. That was 88bhp at the flywheel too
I knew it would be down on power. The car has been feeling slow recently. Since I had that issue with the fuel pump relay come to think of it!
Next job for me is to fit my AFR kit, and set the carb up.
Found one of the main wires was hanging off the alternator, which meant the battery was flat every time I came to the car! Could have had something to do with the poor power??

Re: staffs/cheshire new year meet/rolling road day
Forgot to add... was an awesome day. Good job Blunty, and well up for another one when I get my fueling sorted!
Nice to meet some people too :agree:
