Re: where hav all the famous 5s gone ???
Back in the day it looked sharpe, now it looks a dogs dinner with that yellow and blue clash.
The front bumper is so deep and low that it makes the rest of the car look like its been jacked up, look at how high it sits compared to the front bumper, it just does not look right to me.

I remember falling in love with it when I bought Max Power with it in (was it alongside the purple Skeete one?). I fear that it may be the end of it now though
Someone from the club buy it, and restore it to it's former glory. Save it from being broken.....

Just got reply, he says he's been offered £950 for it as it is without the Volvo!
Mentioned he would get more breaking it so left it to me.
Think it'll be cheaper building a replica starting with my campus.

First post!
Guys thanks for this thread.
Thanks to this I've just bought B5GTT from John at GT Tuning.
It's still exactly the same spec as it was in the last max power article, and although it's been stored for years its in amazingly good condition.
I plan to use it pretty lightly (but enough to keep it good) as I've got a gtr for daily use now.
Any tips for who to insure it with?

No, the silver one was B9 GTT. B5 GTT was THE GT Tuning demo car that was the 1/4 mile record holder for several years. It was originally a Raider (Number 1 I believe - There's a piece of A4 paper confirming it ;)), but it was resprayed a bluey/greeny flippy colour.
Say what you like about GT Tuning, the car's a piece of gtt history, and a very big piece at that
It's good to see that it's resurfaced, and I hope to see it one day. Slaterd, hurry up and get it insured, and bring it to our National Day next weekend at Mallory Park :D

I remember Roly tried selling it years back for a crazy amount. I can't remember the exact figure, but I remember it being typical of GT Tuning's usual pricing structure :D
It's a legend of a car, and it was my favourite for a long time (back when it was in it's original colour, with TSW Blades)

Thanks! I won't say how much just to be fair to John, but I'm very pleased with it.
It looks pretty well how it did 10 years ago.
See pic attached, I'll add more once I get it back from getting it's MOT and stuff done.
I won't get a chance to bring it next weekend, but definitely next time..
