I have just been doin the pipe run on my new forge front mount intercooler and i am really disapointed the pipe run is rubbish some of the 90 degree bends you have to cut approximatly 3/4" of and thats the words the instructions use i wanted a proper kit as i thought it would fit nice and look good it doesnt at all i am really angry it cost alot of money. Some of the homemade kits look amazeing on here and a large companey like forge cant manage the same

I always expected forge to be good quality products. Likewise, I'd expect an off the shelf 'kit' to fit without modification other than to the crossmember.

Let us know what forges response is Chris.

The pump rad and pipes were easy to fit but I had to get work done on the cooler to make it fit in the scuttle mate this was because I dine away with the filler bottle and has it built straight into the main tank

well I haven't updated this thread lately due to my dad having a stroke and lots of other things I kind of lost enthusiasm as he was the one helping me do the car. but I have managed to start chipping away at it again and hopefully I am not to far away from finishing also mike at gt turbo spares has been extremely helpful as has scotty and Dan {R5 beatty} so big thanks to you guys:agree:. so I have managed to put the half cage in and all the interior and all the glass is back in. in time I will replace the front seats but for now its more than manageable so heres a couple of pics where I am up to nowhttp://http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/ee393/lobster1986/renault5193.jpg (http://s1225.photobucket.com/user/lobster1986/media/renault5193.jpg.html)

Had the bonnet resprayed again due to me dropping it so that was an expensive mistake. now next is some number plates and sort the ride height out and then off to mot :yeah:

It's been a little while since I updated my thread been busy with work and other peoples cars so mine just sat in garage. But this weekend I dragged it out the garage and took it for MOT. Which it then failed because the horn stuck on . So I sorted that and then he passed it so all good. I have also changed the headlights back to original and I am pleased I did. I have put a few miles on it now but today it started going really lean on part throttle but I suspect it's just crap in carb nothing too serious. I will put some pics up of it at test station and at home with new headlights:)

Looks sweet on the zender's. Just keep it and enjoy in summer. Everybody wants to sell up in the crap weather lol.

Ps do away with that plastic inline filter to the carb, its for low pressure use. Could go tits up on boost and game over.

Don't sell it mate. You need at least one summer of enjoying it. Stop being a pussy and keep it.

Looks tip top Tyrone. You'll regret selling it.

No point in selling until you've had some use out of it mate.

Wait till summer comes and we get some road trips done, then you'll be pleased you never got rid. There's a reason I've had these cars for the last 14 years you know ;)

Yea that's true I am running the little filter for a short time it's only on low boost still running the engine in kept getting crap in carb but I changed the filter and that has stayed clean so probably could remove it now:)

Don't sell up its lovely. Like has been said rubbish weather always makes the mind think bad thoughts god knows mine does but give it a wash and polish even if it doesn't need it that normally gets me back on the right track.
