Any benefit using a C2L head over a C1J head?

More compression so more responsive off boost but more chance of det?

hello....

no no no...

I put the pictures to show the work in the chambers....thats all.:)

The Head of the C2L have no benefit.

I use the piston has a shaft in the head, unlike 1397cc renault turbo pistons.

This engine is a 1565cc

stroke 84 x 77

give time and i put a C2L turbo piston...

hahaa,,thanks...!!:):)

Here we have no the developed parts that you have,,,, parts like Piper cams....
Or the parts is too expensive here.

I think here you could take much more than us.. hahah....

look at the crankshaft, this has 8 counterweights, and 1397 has only 4

we never got the c2L here, only in south america and turkey i believe.

re cams :

if carriage from brasil costs less for you, then these guys:

http://www.daluz-racing.com.br/

are a catcams dealer.

see

www.catcams.be (http://www.catcams.be)

since you have a bigger engine the cat cam (5500327) should work well for you (I assume you will be using a bigger turbo). I don't know if they will sell it as it used to be exclusive.

Do you live at altitude?

With the 78mm piston you might be able to de-shroud the valves (I tried to find a nice link explaining, but failed).

How much material needs to be removed to allow the crank to rotate cleanly without contact? Do you need to factor in thermal expansion?

perhaps allow for some bearing wear too? altho oil pressure should centralise it.

Hello Andrew... it's not my engine...is 1 work i have to do for...
Mi engine is a 1397cc .... here is too common engine the 1565cc.

Piper cam 285 is peak lift 9.955 and the BB5500327 is 9.61 , dont understand why the "327" will work better with bigger turbos ?

Thanks Andrew :agree:
