got there in the end mate.. had brackets that go under 16" wheels with 300mm discs.. made up new measurements from those and got new ones made to my spec like :)

Not sure to be honest it was in the box when i got it havnt a look properly at it.. all my bits are at marky marks as engines going in there il have to have a look next weekend when i go down..

I need to get a stack speedo though when i get some cash!

Block and gearbox in.

Intercooler/ oil cooler bolted on

Brembos fitted on.

Trial fitted 3" sidey. Thats all good!

Bolted and fitted few other bits and bobs that could be added before head goes on.

Getting there slowly but surely :)

Well finally got exhaust welded up.. Had to start the downpipe from scratch again.. What a pain in the arse! So tight at the back.. Just about managed though!

Highered rear of car abit

oil cooler in place, boost pipes welded up/ cooler had to be chopped and changed again as orginal idea wouldnt work.. But sorted now,

Master cylinder changed to berlingo one.

Rad bottom hose been chopped and moved to front with another pipe T-ing off it (what a mission!!) lol

filter in place

Next:

Sort screamer pipe out
source alternator tensioner bracket and few other bits and bobs.
R19 thermo housing.
Mount coilpack.
Plumb in the rest.
Start wiring.

Managed to modify the clio stat housing.. Saves me from stressing over a r19 housing and paying £120 for a new one..

made tray for coilpack too which hopefully get fitted tomorrow

Used my c1j samco hose kit chop and join here and there and jobs a job'n! One last pipe to sort run out of jubilees tonight

Now having problems with dash loom for some reason things like lights not working properly.. so waiting on another loom to try so dash is back out for now..

yeah mark done it all, all wired in now just got dash loom probloems headlights horn etc playing up! so gotta solve that now.. chris is gonna try send me a base map to get it running

Well fitted a few parts this weekend..

Fuel surge tank setup mocked up in place

After a **** about with the laptop iv got managed to get my map off chris onto the ecu had it spluttering for a split few seconds then came to try again afyer a few tweeks and it sounds like the starter motor isnt engaging :crap:

So looks like iv got to order one of those before i hear it running properly..

ofcourse it pay off. you done magic mods like bonnet conversion to gain access to the bay which is what Renault should have done lol. you got your motor mag featured :agree: your doing a and or already nearly finished a f7p conversion I wanted to do for a long time now. its not a bodge job you have done. after seeing all the other conversions done here. everyone should get a medal lol and we should get eggs thrown at us for taking so long. as always said to other threads of owners refurbs n builds, it keeps me motivated to crack on with mine all be it the barn is cold n dark. and am sure it enspires others who attempting this to give them a paint by numbers template. well impressed.com:)

Pulled rad off this weekend swapping for diff rad and welded in a tray on the subframe, also made slam panel removable to make acess easier

oil leak to sort next, fit new rad, wire speedo in and few bits and bobs, full respray all to be done before end of march ready for scoff..

Cracking on with it now! got the love back after a test drive by mates unit:D

The colour it is now didnt turn out right (too greeny) thats why it never got mopped up, fresh lick over back to the normal shade.. Not long now and be back out

Had to re do bottom tray again to fit new rad, civic with 60mm core modifed bottom rad pipe to other side so make piping up easier.

Fit new rad hoses tomorrow then take it for a drive round the yard.

Still recovering.. Back to reality though its depressing :disagree: but i do wanna get back working on the car now i think once its painted itll give me that big smile again :D
