Just to confirm this is going ahead. Track time may be available on the day but will be @ £35 per session. Hopefully the weather will be good.

well had a good day today at Combe
The old cup was not so good however. Firstly i failed the noise test, big thanks to Sukh for letting me use his exhaust. Yes we did swap them over in the paddock
Did the first session spon on, car went really well. Thought id cracked it
Untill i came back into the paddock when i could hear the engine, it was knocking its guts out, big end stylee. It did this before when i stripped the engine it was all brand new so i put it back together and now its just started knocking again
So, i thought sod it, il do my last session, the engine was ok...But the missfire that i had a Mallory returned with anger !
So, got afew things to sort before Oulton Park in Nov

Don't worry too much about it, Castle Combe are VERY strict about their noise levels. They have a lot of grief off their local council, so they have to be.

Airfield's are very strict as well, but most circuits are a bit better. My coupe's had no problems at Brands Hatch, Rockingham, Donington, Cadwell Park, Snetterton, or Mallory Park. In fact, out of those, the only one that noise testing was even mentioned was Donington, which do a drive-by test.

my first experience on the combe ,its one hell of a fast track indeed
with plenty of nutters on action days
i loved every minute on the track ,shame it was short and i ended up
with cooling difficulties ( seen 112 degrees celcius on my gauge at one point)
but still made the 70 mile drive home allright .
many thanks to sy for organising this
not bad day that,some cool cars an track action,glad to have helped
with the zorst swap.......
