Yeah for 1k revs then change gear. Most people who go for the larger turbo suggest the piper 285 but there are a lot of cams out there to choose from. Might be worth looking at catcams to find one suitable for you. It will help the turbo kick in earlier but still going to be laggy if you running a full T28
ever changed a cam what is it a couple of hours work?

mines usually around this mark...long distance runs 18lbs...around town 20lbs.
doesnt look like much of a difference but there is when it comes to fuelling

do you find its quite laggy spooky?
never looked in a gt turbo engine but do own my own garage so have changed cams before?
i think i will try it with the standard cam as already buying coilovers too all getting a bit expensive and see how she goes
only use her for fun so not like i have to drive it on long boring journeys to work or anything
prob change the cam when ive blown the head gasket lol

ive got a fmic, probably not the most efficent and a side exit exhaust.
other than that id say identical lol
ive had my car for a number of years and its been set up for the way i want it to drive.
i would suggest doing the mods in stages so you can understand whats happening more.
fuelling for 18psi is straight forward and everything youve listed is more than man enough for the job
And if youve seen me drive, you'll understand why my car is fast

i was wondering when sum 1 wud pipe up about the cam change in 3-4 hours
it took me 2 hours to change mine but thats a sohc
its all about external wastegate :P
piper 285, fmic, T28, rejetted Carb, LM-1, side exit exhaust, adjustable TDC, NO DUMP VALVE, 20psi all day every day!
only time i get lag is if i pull off in third
