Hello !
Few words to say how great was the event ! It is our 4th ND and it was really GIANT Beautifull cars, heavy modified engines, many people met, great site at Mallory Park, good weather with sun all the day and 'magic pernod' helping to heat the night
We took many pictures, so I will post them during this week when I got some free time. By the way I confirm the manifold used on the efi car comes from an 11 Alliance. Happy to read our cars were appreciated
Thanks to all the people we have met during the week end, thanks to Miller & all the staff, thanks x 1000
Will be back to ND09 !
Bonjour Fred,
Hehe was lovely meeting you guys and thank you so much for the Pernod, lethal stuff! Can't believe you guys were drinking mugs of whisky neat!
Looking forward to seeing the photos, I saw Roman taking quite a few over the weekend

It was a great weekend. Well worth the trip up. Thanks mostly to Bekki for looking after my boy while I was on track. Only intended to do one or two sessions but kept being asked for passenger rides all day, so did a bit more than intended on my knackered rear Michelin Cup tyres.
Cheers to Mart/Bekki for the accommodation. Much appreciated & Josh had a great time. His first time sleeping in a tent & he hasn't stopped talking about it yet. Oh, & by the way, first word past his lips this morning when presented with his breakfast was "FAIL". Thanks again for that one Mart. Laura says it's all my fault.
Thanks to Shoppers for organising the mother of all pizza orders.
Cheers to Big Steve for the loan of the bedding. Hope the passenger ride was good fun.
Good to see so many Renaults doing proud on track. Looks like the trackday jitters are well and truely a thing of the past.
I know it's not a Renault but did anyone catch any footage of my CSL on track? I'd be interested to have a look. They do sound nice fully wound up.
Fair play on the inovation award to the LPG conversion, having read the PPC mag article there is a lot more to it than meets the eye. How about we get PPC mag down to ND09? or even better someone has to enter a 5 into the PPC £999 challenge.
I spent a little time there met a proper cool camper called Lyle who made me Tea.
Good to see you lot, good to meet more peeps.
My littluns loved the CAFE Saturday morning.

so well done to miller and the others involved and you'll be seeing me and mine next year
Was my fourth National day and i think the best so far well organised and a good weekend good to meet some old faces and meet some new ones and good to see my old 5 there as well and the weather was a big plus
The day looks amazing, glad it turned out nice weather for you all.
There are some loverly cars and the pics and footage are a real treat to see .
I was browsing through and wanted to know whos this engine bay was. Any ideas?. One word, perfection!.
Thanks
Im taking bets on that being Big Steves Raider
it sure is the big steves engine bay, deserving winner of " best engine bay " award too
the engine bay is almost as famous as Big Steve himself....
Had a great weekend and even though I may have looked a bit deep down I really enjoyed organising ND and can't wait to get started on next years
thanks to all the committe members who helped out, the other members who did their bit and the girlfrinds that were dragged along Finally a big thanks to everyone who made the effort to come without you there is no National Day
Bring on ND09!!! My clio turbo will be there as I now have time to start the conversion
miller were mallory park happy with RTOC and are they happy for us to come back. it was a blinding weekend and im game to come back and try to get over 100mph on gerrards after some suspension mods .
Mallory would be good for next year i loved the open all hours pub on site SWEEEEEET as well was the most relaxed trackday ive done my son was chuffed as he was allowed on track, camping was good and close to track well done Chris roll on next year
I agree.......it was a great venue and it could easily be bigger next year and still cope....
even with sessions on track it was more than enough to get arm ache after minutes, LOL......
Renault are already interested in a return vist.....after seeing the 5's on track he is already talking about building hemself a 5 track day car for next years event...
LOL.......
they also want to bring the trackday Megane R26R and the Twingo RS for track next year......
I'll get my coat...
Can we take bets on Tim turning up to next years event though.
oh yessssssss....
and the 11 will be on track, I'm sure
Probably best I don't come next year, else there'll be no members left
I'll see if we can get St Johns and an Air Ambulance.....
Just a quickie, being as im sad and i like the smaller things in life...no jokes please.., i enquired @ the mallory park shop for track shaped stickers an the guys said there that mallory dont have any and wont make any, im gonna get my mate to make some ...so all us sad gits can have one on the back of the car if needed, so i need to know if this is something you fancy and how many to get made up... was thinking black and white..50/50..., jeez.
I'll have one black and one white ,can't decide where to put it

Jesus says
Go fast on a sunday,it might be your last lap.
LOL..
I'm up for 1 too young man.
sticker for me please,i asked in shop as well
Mart, AlexS & Duncan Grier will all vouch for when the Skyline GTR Owners Club (GTROC) go to a track day they have a window sticker with the outline of the track and GTROC in the centre for all the members.
Therefore you can see which cars have been to which tracks & it looks good when you see a car with all the stickers on.
Maybe we could start this ball rolling with the RTOC?
