Stu, have you sorted camping on Thursday??
Make more?!? we have no interest in making money. Every event we attend costs the club money, we aim to break even on most tickets sales (but never do), and heavily subsidise big events like this and ND.
It is costing the club £72.58 for every person that signs on, because as ive said too many times (so this is the last) we have paid just over £3500 for 50 places, so if we sell you, and 49 other people a place (and yes 1 run class as a place) for £5 the club losses £3250. Not really a healthy return is it fella?
sorry dude, I didn't mean make money, but more like take more money to recoup costs. I see your point above. just a thought thats all.
if you sold individual runs at £10 it would still make sense to me. Most people would think "sod that i can get unlimited for £50" but the others who wouldn't buy tickets because of not wanting to do loads of runs would stretch to a £10 or £20 for a couple of runs? maybe you should do a poll to gauge interest. I maybe I should shut my mouth, I imagine organising something like this is a real pain in the ass........never mind numpties like me making it more complicated.
Good work
Basically they are allowed 50 cars on the track and thats it. It doesn't matter if a car only does 1 run its still classed as one of the 50 cars.
To be fair mate, if you went along to your usual RWYB/Fast Show/RetroShow/USC type santa pod event you pay £10 or £15 entry and £25 for 4 runs (at the most). So the £50 we (were) asking for a ticket is only £10 more, but you get as many runs as you like and zero queues. Okay we aint got the NUTS girls wandering around in fishnet tights, but on the flip side you dont have to look at loads of plastic/filler covered jap cars and pugs
damn it, no where to keep warm and snuggly
ill text man whore now lol
i could be coming, then again, i might be somewhere VERY ****ing hot lol
Is anyone else as excited about the weekend as Adam and I are? Lol

Im looking forwards to it , and all im doing it coming to watch, and have a nice bbq if the weather allows
Same, unfortunately I can't convince Adam to let me take the Raider up the strip. I'll be there shaking my pom-poms instead
I'll be bringing along all the RTOC camping essentials - Disposable BBQ, bright pink camping chair (thanks Adam), a frisbee and skittles vodka
haha comical, i actually have a pretty good gazebo which is awesome for bbqs etc, however its a bit large to get in the r5, . be nice to maybe put some faces to usernames, but will see :P
Oh just do what I do, get drunk and go around the campsite introducing yourself to randoms, lol. It's all a good giggle, always end up meeting some cool people
Sadly i wont be making it this year, to much work on at weekends to turn down & Charlotte has exams to revise for etc...
Even ND is lookin in doubt for us to.
Got me a ticket to this, but just got my operation date through and its the week before. Do you think they will still let me go up the strip if my foot is in bandage ? Or if i bought the auto tank would there be a prob (its my left foot) ?
Leigh
Haha, as long as you have the necessary documentation, you can do as you please. Not sure anyone will want to run on the opposite side of the track to you though
Sorry if i'm being blonde here, but when i go to buy my ticket it's trying to charge me £80 for the event?
I thought it was £60??
Can someone help?I do not want to camp as i only live 10minutes away.
Thanks
