Hey chaps,
I'm thinking of selling my evo 2. It's the second time I've owned the car and I'm just struggling to gel with it.
It goes real well but it's just not flicking the right switch for me.
Briefly the specs are:
Evo 2 in ford imperial blue
Evo 3 bumpers and skirts
Standard interior apart from momo wheel and blitz turbo timer
Seat bolsters replaced a couple of years ago
Engine recently rebuilt with reciepts for all parts. All done by a forum member and should be documented on here somewhere.
Evo 9 mr pistons and rods
Arp head and rod bolts
ACL bearings
New lash adjusters
Team dynamics pro race 17" alloys
BC racing coilovers
HKS bov
Aftermarket panel airfilter
Camskill exhaust system (decat downpipe not fitted but included with the car)
Engine has covered approximately 4,000 miles since rebuild
The bad points are:
Power steering pump has a noisey bearing
Slight bubbling on the roof but not broken the paint
I fitted a boost controller and at 1.3bar the clutch slipped once when loaded up in 5th from 3,500rpm. It never slipped when loaded up at high revs, only when low. I backed the boost off to 1.2bar and it was fine. I've removed the boost controller now though as it was cheap crap and wouldn't hold a steady boost pressure, just spiked all over the place.
It's got mot untill February I think.
I'm going to advertise at £3,500. with the engine spec, I feel this is a good price.
