It will just be my show and shine car
Will get a build thread up once it gets delivered and yeah I am no doubt sure I will be asking dumb questions and asking for help
Yeah not sure hey I know it needed all new brake lines and had to have the std rims fitted (Which I now need to get shipped separately) but yeah reading his thread it took him a few years :-(
Welcome to the club Scoobykilla. I did keep my eye on this car when it first came up in QLD, but I didn't have the cash. It's amazing to see how many people give you confused looks!
Tambo is another member with a GTT in WA. So you'll have someone close'ish to call on if for nothing else than remembering where a certain part goes!
Nice. I also wanted to buy this R5 as a daily. But Never managed to get the money together. Think my next car will be a Nissan March Superturbo (bit rare though), 900cc turbo and supercharged. There is one for sale for $8000 at the moment http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mount...k10/1066337008. Be a nice daily drive i reckon ;-)
Need a hand with anything drop me a line. I'm not the most clued up but i did completely strip and rebuild my 5.... and it works ;-)
Those videos of the Nissan March Superturbo just make me wanna buy one even more now ;-) Maybe i could copy the idea and make an R5 GT Superturbo, hahaha. That would be fun.
Hey Scoobykilla, when i eventually get the car completed and working well enough, i'll take a drive down to Bunbury to catch up... could be a few months though!
