I thought I'd share what I was doing instead of going to FCS.

I was asked if I could get a car ready for the owner to sell it. It had been sitting on his driveway for a while and accumulated a lot of sap, bird bombs and twigs

And here it is!

Pulled it forward. What a sound!

And a closer look at what we were dealing with (after the sticks and leaves were carefully removed).

So straight into the wash/decon stages.

Wheels, tyres and arches first. All completed with Auto Finesse Verso (carbon-ceramic disks here so no strong chemicals were used).

VP Citrus Pre-Wash was sprayed and allowed to dwell while the rubbers, plastics, grills etc were attended to with APC and Envy brushes.
Rinsed and a second hit of Citrus Pre-Wash applied while I filled my buckets.
Washed down with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss.
Tar spot treated with Tardis.
Clayed with a G3 body prep mitt.
Rinsed and dried off.

Taken inside the Garage where it was hand polished with Auto Finesse Tripple

The luggage compartment was hoovered out, plastics and gutters cleaned and plastics dressed with 303 Aerospace.

Before

50/50 on the scuttle

The interior was hoovered out and given a thorough wipe down with Valet Pro Interior APC.

The car was then waxed with Auto Finesse Desire :argie:
Glass polished with Auto Glym.
Wheels sealed with G|techniq C2
Tyres with Megs Endurance
Trims with Auto Finesse Revive.

Looking much, much better!

Exhausts received a quick polish With Meguiar's NXT

Then taken outside for a few final shots.

I know it's not quite an RTOC subject, but I thought some people might appreciate the car.
