will any uprated cluth of a 5gtt fit my volvo 1.7 turbo engine?
its the 200 what is the best clutch for the power im running its got the ecu mod and is running 14psi
the standard 215mm valeo will work fine for that mate.
thats to big thow int it
sorry, typo. the standard in either case will work OK at 14psi.
and by standard, I mean the GTT 'uprated' thing which is the same thing ofcourse.
the thing is that is the one i had in and it lasted about 2 weeks
could you recommend a uprated one ?

will this be any good
you could find a 215mm flywheel and use the later clutch. the 200mm should have worked fine for you, if it lasted 2weeks then something killed it. you won't be making staggering torque at 14psi.
maybe its gotten contaminated, I used to kill paddle plates on one particular gearbox because the input shaft seal was leaking, always a layer of gearbox oil and crud inside the bellhousing and on the clutch cover. I bet it would see a normal clutch off just as quickly.
will the one from k-tec be any good then ?
is the one from k-tec just the valeo one like
Yes the one from K-Tec is the Valeo one that GSF sell, no difference just there sticker on it
ho is gsf?
which valeo did you fit? Do you have a part number?

German, swedish, & french
btw, I didnt read the thread and take it was meant to say "who". Just trying to be helpful lol
how much is it?
what about helix clutchs? does any one know how much torque the volvo engine puts out with 14psi?
https://secure.gsfcarparts.com/shop/results.asp
try using there search function for prices part numbers ect its alot easier
I'm using a 200mm Helix paddle clutch in my volvo engine and i'll be pushing alot of power/torque through mine so i might have to upgrade, but for your spec it should be fine. I've known a few volvo engines run a fair bit of boost on the 200mm paddle and it has held up, but at 14psi i can't see why a standard volvo one won't hold up.
thanks for your help what kind of power are u running throw yours
