was just going to post this up - 'only 1 in the world'

car doesnt look to bad though, as long as its been built well could be a decent car.

    Atleast he's not claiming 200bhp off a t2 though

The lighter engine really pi55es on what is a good handling car.. I slapped one together and it felt like a mistake and would be a constant quest to try get it right...

does the clio/c1j not work well? I had a 1.4rt clio for my 1st car and loved it, thought it handled well for what it was, was allways tempted to put a c1j in it

It's was a 1.8 16v and was a failboat with the c1j... I wanted to love it but it was undoing what was a good car and totally ruining it..

It lacked the gt turbo feeling and the original feel was lost.... It became a turd..

Yeah, it does look like quite a well done conversion. Shame these Mk1 face-lifts are so bug-ugly.

    Re: eBay Clio advert

I know this is a 1.4 but taking a 1.8 16v lump out and swapping for a 1.4 8v pushrod lump is just stupid slapping a turbo on the valver lump is the only way.
