    New dj mix

Just though i would share this with you all. Its a hardcore mix with records 93-95. Its rezerection / judgment day style.

Not everyones taste, but hey .

I will be knocking up some oldskool rave, venue and some trance mixes soon to.

    Worked for me.

Not my sort of tunes but well done. I'll point big Dan C in its direction sure he'll enjoy it just in time for Sagliers road trip.

    Re: New dj mix

Man, when the beat comes in, it reminds me of hangover headaches from 15yrs ago. Phew.

    Nice mixing tho Phil

Do one with late 90's chilled/ambient trance with tunes like Three Drives - Greece 2000, Mystica - Bliss, Solarstone - Seven Cities, Lost Tribe - Gamemaster, Tiesto - Honey (Chicane Club mix), Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia, Mike Koglin - On My Way (Rebirth mix), that sort of thing.

I'd probably get a bit further through it

I lost count how many times we played these kinds of tunes belting out while driving GTTs at night. Ah, the invincible early 20's. Now I'm in my crippled mid 30's.

    Soft lad

I dont have any of the above really Trev. I have alot of goa trance like Oakenfold used to play 94-95 if you like that?

Other trance i have is, system f - out the blue, binary finary - 98, right through to modern stuff by Armin van buuren and giuseppe ottaviani.

I will look those up though trev, might be a bit tame for me I do have Thrillseekers - Synaesthesia, but its the fly away version and Mike Koglin - The silence.

    Soft is about right

Three Drives - Greece 2000, Mystica - Bliss, Solarstone - Seven Cities, Lost Tribe - Gamemaster were all Oakenfold favourites from various albums

    In order:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rs-jemAvpxw Atlantis mix actually
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xjud60Po-l4

What would you need, the mp3's or something more sophisticated? Oh, or are you vinyl recording to digital?!?

    Re: New dj mix

No way, the Quench beat from about 2mins 30 onwards is what Lost Tribe used/nicked for Gamemaster, lol. Have a listen. Bit too old school for me in its original form. I'm class 97-99 rather than the trance roots of the earlier 90's. Funny how folk can be so particular.

I have three drives in there actually, never play it , i get the idea though, you must like Liquid child - Diving faces, Beachball etc?

I have sold my 1200s and currently selling off all my 12". I have converted most to mp3 and added to my collection with downloads.

Im now using a pioneer ddj sx, look them up great bit of kit. Just coming to terms with loops and rolls, hot cues etc, its all good stuff though, much better way to mix than 12"

    Yeah, that's the stuff.

'Deeper' Euphoria by Red Jerry was probably the best Album ever for this kind of music.

As for your kit, it sounds and looks ace but I have no idea about DJing I'm afraid

    Good skills Phil

There are a few tracks there that are (or at least were) right up my alley. Greece 2000, that is a tune that will never get old.

Thought the bulk of it would be a bit to fast for you trev. I played a lot of my favourites in there, I always preferred the club trance, the warm up stuff is ok but I like to go mad to it in a club, or at least I did, bc that's before children

    Re: New dj mix

Ace. How come you only get 2hrs upload space? Seems a shame to have to delete the work you've done in order to put new stuff up.

It wasn't too fast necessarily, perhaps just leaning a touch to far to the 1994-97 end And I do prefer the softer guitar-synth'd, balearic, stuff. Slightly softer I suppose. Some good tracks in there though, esp the last half hour!

Roger Shah Sunlounger Sessions. Some belters in there.
