I thought you guys would like to see what we are working on in the workshop at the moment.
You may remember this red cup car. It was driven by Dave Cox to 2nd position in the reunion race. It was then sold and used on trackdays around the country.
The new owner is very keen on the old Harlow Livery that my Dad carried in the championship, so he has asked us to totally recreate it!
It is also in for a total engine rebuild.

There is SO MUCH work involved in totally changing the colour of a race car - inside and out, including wheel arches and engine bay! Especially as this is silver, involving a base coat and clear.
Is is such a nice colour though, and really suits the 5.
Since then, we have finished the shell by adding the small amount of blue on the front wing. The rest is all vinyl.
