    Re: New R5 Project II

Cheers, its such an original car hence why I saved it from the crusher!

It will be a long term project, but will be done right. To be honest im not aiming for a completion date at the moment.

Will be full respray, any welding needed doing and then going fully OE.

But when finnished wont be left on my drive!

Well big thanks to the legend that is Jon (5279) for sorting the steering collum on me r5 today

However we did find out that the dashborad and dash loom are junk so some more new parts required. All the wiring is burnt out

    Heres how 5 stands now

and this is what the low life did to the previous collum

As said before this is going to be one major rebuild

Project is still ongoing, just at this moment getting together a few parts.

Have made my seats mint after buying a donor interior from Barnsley.

Thanks to coop for the soft clutch conversion

Andyturbo for turbines and 3" scorpion system

And of course Jon - Thundercat for his help and a rather mint steering wheel and rear lights!

Cheers Andy, its getting there - at least r5 runs now!

Dave its a Pioneer KE-3090, which is the Pull out version of the original stereo fitted to my car. Original stereo would have been a KE-3060

Got 2 buddy, phase 2 black and a phase 2 white. Black one is nearly done white one is still work in progress - waiting for decent weather!!!!!

Trying to keep them oem+, standardish, lowered with 15" alloys. But getting standard parts that are cheapish is a challenge, lol.
