Long reach grinding stones for manifold work

Iv got a spare inlet manifold here so while im waiting for my crank im going to polish the inside of it. Iv got one thats been done before but its only the 1st inch and a bit, so just going to take it abit further. Iv got a set of grinding stones but can see why previous person couldnt get any futher.

What can i use as cant find any longer/extended grinding stones?

    cheers

Last time I used normal rounded grinder bits on the end on a extension snake like this one

Mine had a smaller end to it.

    Hope that helps

There is a place in Wales called Motorsport Tools, I think they do a long mandrel and polishing kits.

Mind you, this is more like the thing you need...?

The long reach burr set above won't give a polished Finnish I use these all the time and if your not careful the can take off quite alot of material

Never had a problem with a carbide burr, but I guess I'm being careful, personally I wouldn't aim for a mirror finish inside a manifold, just better gas flow.
