Sweet, fire away.
Thanks again, Tom
5970 miles ought to do it.
my friend was wondering if he could come with his track car (saxo) if so how much would it cost?
Hi rew its £95 for entry and track for.non members
Guys
I purchased my full track ticket some months ago, Do I get a physical ticket or do you have a guest list/names of people who have paid?
Thanks
Adam
You'll get a ticket in the post soon, please read the FAQ sheet stickied to the top of the forum which explains the process in full
We were talking about this at the weekend dawn, do we need to send out tickets, you can just tick people off on the day at the track briefing? Same for camping?!
Hi, dont know if i have missed this bit but does anybody know how much extra drivers are?? cheers Lee
All drivers must buy full price ticket .
Not posting out would only work if we have someone there from the CMs to sort it out on the gate .
I had this issue for my track car - it is 50% share and to reduce costs of track days we split the cost of events but the way the RTOC ND is structured we would have to both buy a full price ticket which does not make it that much of a bargain.
Where of course a single ticket for the track day is a bargain
As it stands this year I will not be in a position to bring the track beast and only if the VX220 / VAG conversion is completed would I be bringing my own stuff
However may be bringing a members car along to abuse
DG
It still works out a bargain even if you have to buy two tickets .very few trackdays out there for 140 ....which includes second driver
Please can anyone buying more than one tracktime ticket supply names of all drivers these are for .
We need to check against membership and also for insurance and drivers briefing purposes .
Non members must pay the higher price ,if not they will be asked on the day for the balance or their ticket will become void innit
Agree it is still cheaper than a lot of the more premium track days usually get a cheeky discount so prob a bit cheaper than most joe public prices
And of course this one is full of other lunatic's but friendly ones
Should be a good day and sure the regulars will like the change of track, prob new to a lot of us also
Great work guys
DG
Wow!! This must be nearly sold out!! Very anal on the ticket sales!!!
Easy now .......I thought we were discussing this privately but ....allow me to retort
No ,it's not being anal ,it's about supporting the club and trusting members not to take advantage .
The price ,even for non members ,is far less than you will pay anywhere else for 7 hrs open pit at any venue .
Non members pay a surcharge ,the first years membership fee so even then they are given the option to join this great club and reap it's many rewards for at least a full year ..
As pm'd
I will cancel and refund your order for 3 member tickets
2 cars 3 drivers, 1 member, no option for extra drivers this time £210, not that cheap but I do understand the club needs to fund the day and fully appreciate that.
As I also said I will ask the other 2 drivers if they can afford to pay the extra £25 each before refund, unless you are telling me this is not allowed anymore??
I won't put any smiley faces or people drinking cups of tea as this is a tad obnoxious.
No offence, cheers lee
If they can't afford the extra 25 then they shouldn't be even thinking about trackdays .
That is not the point .The point is that you know the score regards ticket pricing and knew when the order was placed .
I have cancelled your order and refunded in full .
So we are not allowed to purchase tickets anymore even at the non members price?
Hi Lee,
I agree that £210 isn't a cheap day out for one person, but divided by 3 that works out £70 per person if you split your discount between your mates to share the burden?
If you check out Javelin's website you can't get a full open pitlane trackday for £70 that includes:
- A free disco in the evening
- Show & Shine Competition with Prizes
- Rolling Road
- Free Gift
We're not asking the earth & the RTOC isn't a profit making organisation. We are a car club putting on a subsidised event for it's members. I know that money is tight for some people at the moment what with the global downturn etc.
Steve.
We are also a non-profit club, every penny "profit" goes back directly into the club for the members benefit
We never did an "additional drivers" option did we, not for the years I've been working for the club anyway so not sure what you mean by it isn't an option this time.
To answer your question, of course you can buy tickets at the non-members price again if you wish to online, or just purchase them on the day
Steve I completely agree and do not mean to cause any offence, the price is cheap compared to any other track day, just a bit higher than the usual excellent rtoc national day prices, it was a genuine mistake and I did clarify the situation straight the way. I understand the club needs to pay for the day, I have been for the last 3 years and enjoyed very much.
I do try to support the club and always ask friends to come along to help bring in more revenue for the club, especially if is made aware the more people the better. I would very much like to still come if my friends agree to pay the extra, it's their money not mine, so the comment " they should nt think about coming if they can't afford £25" is a little out of order.
Dawn, thank you I will do that, I understand the club doesn't make money and appreciate all the effort from you guys.
Hurrah! We're finally on the Blyton Park calendar
http://www.blytonpark.co.uk/calendar-of-events/
I'm coming down with my campervan, who should i speak to about a power supply? Not gonna be using much but don't think my generator running all day will be nice for others, would also need a power supply for the Terraclean equipment, again it's not much, just a compressor.
I did ask before but never really got an answer....well I did get an answer of Eugene, so yeah not much of an answer......

I'm never doing an FAQ sheet again
looking forward to this event now, just a big thumbs up to the staff for pushing on and making this happen
Lol it's always expected but I'm hoping it at least helps a few people out - it just takes forever to do
How many people/cars are expected to the event ?
we (all french people) are so excited to be here this year to celebrate the birth with all of us !!!
Hope there's a lot of beautiful Gtt coming !!
Romain,
I'm not sure on numbers but we're selling the tickets very well this year so are expecting a great turnout.
We are really looking forward to you guys coming over from France and I've been speaking to Xenon quite a bit also about it to arrange things - it'll be great fun!
Yes come and enjoy the camping in the rain
Have we got stickers made up for this with blyton park track on like previous national days?
Has anyone else noticed there is an open pitlane trackday on the sunday as well £139.
Anyone feel like doing the extra day with me?
I've been a busy bee the past couple of nights, hand-writing, logging and putting together this little lot. These are just the pre-orders (so far) which will be ready for collection on the gate . It also doesn't include the French guys yet who are coming over (all 15 of them!)
This is looking to be the busiest and biggest year yet, it's pretty exciting! (We NEVER get so much interest before the event so the committee are really hyped)
ps - Those tickets in the bottom right hand corner are there to cover someone's details...but also happen to be the Pod tickets (available to buy in the shop this weekend and on sale at Blyton also)
Cant wait
Is mike going to this?? Haven't heard or seen him for a while..?
