    Clunk noise + brake advice.

When I put foot down I get clunk from what I think is drive shaft.

I changed to a new drive shaft while doing this noticed suspension top mount was cracked.

After taking it apart found whole lot has gone. Replaced that.

Still get a clunk from what I think is the drive shaft. :S

Its definitely not a mount, had it over pit and checked everything.

When I put foot on throttle its just a clunk. :S

Other question is my brakes are terrible. They have been on the to do list for a while. Front pads have lots left. rear need changing. but when i say bad I have to pre emptive brake from ages away. This is with EBC green stuff pads and vented discs.

What would cause them to be about 20% efficiency at last mot just passed (before i brought car).

I am thinking bleed them refill with fluid and change rear pads should sort it?
