And about done..
Big thanks to v8ndy and miller for help along the way
I'm liking it mate, looking really good
hmm you love it or hate it.! i love it and hate it too
im not keen on the brown colour as from the pics it looks like a non metallic colour.
dont get me wrong, i like brown, but would have gone for the more metallic/pearl type browns. you see alot of french/german cars repainted in this colour.
still, top quality finish
Viva La Retro, is that the UK equivalent of the Japanese "4x4 offroad happy"
As you say, Marmite, I like that it's basically standard, but distinctive and not another "cookie cutter" car. You need that kit trimming in leather though
can really appreciate the hours put into getting it to that standard. Looks superb.
Wow dave paintwork looks spot on... such a shame ur so far away from me otherwise you would have both my 5's to paint!
Bloody lovely dave and very different! Top work...
a bit of wood effect vinyl wood look lovely in the place of the standard GT Turbo sticker.....
New poster! (less than 10 posts)
nice dave just tried to get mine going yesterday idling problems going to have a go again today mark....
i love it , looks spot on
Would look so much better with the right wheel choice and colour, and suspension height. Top work though

Looks mint Dave, can't wait to see it in the flash!!
Fancy bringing it to the rr day?
thanks for the positive feedback guys, its taken a while doing it when i've had the time but fairly happy with the result.
Possibly ashy, will know in a week or so..still some stuff to sort out on it yet
deck it on some polished bbs alloys or on some wide 13s and it would be sweet as a nut. looking good tho i like th ebrown and white combo but the white wheelspush it to far for me
Fair play for having the balls to try something diffrent, looks good. How many hours did you put in to the bodywork?
far too many !
A new pic, going back to the standard grille ..think it looks better?
i agree, the std grill looks much better even though ive got the same [monte carlo]grill youve taken off.
looks sweet mate
Spot on! brown is the new black eh?!
Wish i could see the pics but my work PC is not allowing them.
Oh well, just have to wait till i eventually get online at home again.
seeing as that national day carry on is coming up i thought it was time for a change ,
well i got kinda bored with the brown and have painted the rest of the kit to match, oh and new shoes..and intercooler being fitted too
now that looks a hell of a lot better than the poopoo colour
dave, can i ask... im wanting to paint my turbines matt black. obviously i would need to prime then paint, but with the paint being matt do/should i apply laquer after paint.?
P.M sent buddy
Wow Dave, I know what the car was like before you cast your wand over it!! It looks fab, especially now its not brown!! Can I have bob back please!!
looks bloody awesome m8 and them wheels are pucker too.
