    Engine Degreaser

Im looking for a good engine degreaser for my parts washer. It must be non flameable. The problem I have is I need a fair few gallons of the stuff as the drum is probably around a 50 gallon. Obviously doesnt need to be full, but it does need to cover enough of the pump to keep a good flow. Any thoughts guys and girls? cheers.

Gunk is ok but for a decent degrease you need Jizer, yes its an unfortunate name and yes it is slighty flamable but its fookin brillient when it comes to shifting oil and **** off engine bits, get yaself to a partco

    Re: Engine Degreaser

Im quite happy to lose some performance in the degreaser, as im not prepared to keep 15/20 gallons of flameable liguid in the garage. I know there are some water soluble degreasers around not sure what there like. Yeh, i think your right of to partco and a bit more time on google.

I second the Jizer or hpyerclean over Gunk. I dont find Gunk very efficient.

Does this so called ' jizer ' come in 25l? and how much is that going to cost me? Im still not happy about having something so flameable in a drum in the garage. ( I smoke ).

It's now become SO flammable Do you intend to put your fags out in it ?

Do you not have something containing a highly flammable liquid in there already like say ...at a guess ..a 5 thingy

Edit ...only flammable in aerosols ..
