    Refitting drivers side drive shaft

    Hi all.

Ive just put my engine and gearbox back in and didnt connect the drivers side driveshaft up whilst I was lowering it down . Whats the best way of doing this with the engine in situ? The wheel end of the drive shaft is fastened up btw.

    Thanks Matt

jack the front drivers up, wheel off, undo bottom ball joint, put steering on full right hand lock, then the hub and suspension will pull out far enough so you can slip the drive shaft onto the gearbox spline. be sure to align the holes in the shaft and spline so that you can put the split pin or roll pin through.
