Im after fluro lined really matey as std silicone isnt ideal for oil hoses. The 3 ply silicone work but the oil affects the rubber over time making it soft. Gen samco are only £7ish but not fluro lined & the wrong colour i need black for the o.e look

Yeah, but you're talking in years there mate.

Old o.e ones also go soft, hence why so many of them split & thus leak when you tighten up the jubilee clip.

Can't say I've ever experienced any prob's with the Samco/SFS outlets, but if you're going for the full-on o.e spec' look, furry muff

Mine went dodgy on the van after a few month, i can only assume the fully synth oil & heat off the turbo killed it? Had to renew it as it split when clamping up after changing the turbo.

I also had one go that soft that it kept popping off when tightening the jubilee clip up! had to use brake cleaner on it to make it sticky to get it to stay on. It actually popped off at one point with the engine idling in my garage, spewed oil all over

Granted if you fit it once & never remove it you will be ok, but it seems like false economy replacing it every time turbo needs to come off.

Just thought id add the hoses only fail as the std 3 ply silicone are designed for coolant/boost. The proper fluro lined silicone bends are spot on but cost more than the o.e bend, about £30 ish each
