    foam behind dash

I've had to remove the foam from behind the dash to do a small repair to the bulkhead. Now mine is wreaked after previous owners ripping it to bits, probably running wires.

Now do i buy a replacement, or leave it out? I guess its main purpose is to reduce noise in the cabin.

As you say it helps reduce noise in the car, ever driven one without any insulation? Very loud. I have several secondhand ones in at the mo.
