    midlands meet, whos game

Who is up for a midlands meet? im thinking some time after nationals day , maybe in 6 weeks or so.

Location possibly the stenson bubble pub, that's situated just off the A38 between derby and burton on trent along side the A38. Its well known for hosting jap meets and maybe i could get a seperate area put aside for us lot, bonus being that on sundays they do a carvery and there is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors for lots of us.

So cumon folks get your name down if your interested and ill speak to the bubble (pub) and sort a date.

Theres the Orbital at Cannock (just up road from the carvery), right on the A5 as well, can always get in there and good carpark (next to the Renault Garage!)

its the same as calling a black person a N*G**R

or an asian person a P*C*Y

    or a white person a H*N*Y

some people may be fine with being called these, but then theres people who dont like to be called it, so the best thing to do is not use those kind of words to describe something

    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    Jump to: navigation, search
This article is about British restaurant stereotype. For the pejorative term it derives from, see Chink.
Look up chinky in Wiktionary, the free dictionary.
In the United Kingdom, a chinky (sometimes known as a chinky chonky[1]) is a slang name for a Chinese takeaway restaurant, or the meal that one buys from such a restaurant. The name "chinky" is the adjectival form of chink, and like chink was originally an ethnic slur for Chinese and other oriental people.[2] After several campaigns by the Scottish Executive, more people in Scotland now acknowledge that this name is indirectly racialist.[3] However, the Broadcasting Standards Commission held in 2002, after a complaint about the BBC One programme The Vicar of Dibley, that when used as the name of a type of restaurant or meal, rather than as an adjective applied to a person or group of people, the word carries no racist connotation, and is quite funny, and given that the program is shown on BBC1 is thus representative of the views of the majority of the population.[4] However, a year earlier the Commission's counterpart, the Radio Authority, apologised for the offence caused by an incident where a DJ on Heart 106.2 used the term. The apology was issued through interpretive dance[5] Ofcom, the successor organisation of the two, classifies it as a derivative of the racist term "chink", but notes that the degree to which the term is deemed offensive varies according to age or ethnic origin of the listener.[6]

even the best of use use the term for the food outlet with out using it as raciam
but as im not one for causing trouble if i have a hurt someones feelings plz i did not mean it

i know you dont mean it in a racial way but its still a hurtful word

being brought up in england and suffering racial abuse all my life i would know the full impact a word like that feels like

    anyway bitching over

He didnt call you a chinky. He simply refered to his food as " a chinky" Its not racist to call your food chinky.
