Paint codes were usually on the centre of the oval plate on the car, here is a list of Renault factory colours for the GT Turbo...

5 GT Turbo colours (UK)

Phase 1

705 Phase 1 Red
690 Phase 1 Silver
495 Phase 1 Electric Blue (same as Phase 2)
694 Phase 1 Super Gloss Black (same as Phase 2)
168 Phase 1 Pearl White, with 348 as the base (same as Phase 2), and 347 Pearl matt - for the Phase 1 body kit


Phase 2

719 Phase 2 Carmen Red
389 Phase 2 Glacier White
608 Phase 2 Tungsten Grey
620 Phase 2 Silver
694 Phase 2 Super Gloss Black (same as Phase 1)
495 Phase 2 Electric Blue (same as Phase 1)
168 Phase 2 Pearl White, with 348 as the base (same as Phase 1)
