    Another wiring question.. what feeds the rev counter?

    is it a wire from the ignition module?

    Yep, it's one of the wires (can't remember which one now...pink maybe?) on the 3-way plug/connector.

    as im having trouble and i think it feeds large black plug over the rev gauge and cable slot no.8 i think may change to a brown wire

    The pink wire from the aei 3 pin plug.....letter C i think... ive seen these wires fade on some GTs but normaly its pink... the other two wires are 12v and earth so maybe use a tester if your colours are odd....

    J, the rev limiter connects to the positive and negative outputs on the coil ( IIRC)

    They are two metal pegs on the side of the AEI, only one is just visible in the pic, just below and left of the supresser connection. To expose the other metal peg you have to cut away some of the plastic surround The limiter wires then slip nicely over the pegs once if they have female bullet connecters on them ( This it was Mart who suggested this originally, works well )

    the three way plug has three wires . one is earth thats gotta be the black one
    that just leaves two
    so if the yellow wire is B+ with ign on that only leaves one

    last one standing

    anyone fancy a game of cludo
    i recon it was pro plumb in the studdy with the lead pipe
