If you love theme parks, go to Busch Gardens in Florida. To say it is infinitely better than Alton Towers is an understatement.

lol yea i like theme parks but unfortunately its not what i tend to do on holiday. In fact i think my holidays are usually all about chilling out with tanned foreign birds, or having a laugh with the lads :P. Thorpe park might be a win though . :P

Thorpe Parks ace, I went last year. Made a change from when I used to go as a kid and the scariest ride they had was the log flume, bubbles or what ever its called and boat ride round where the only wildlife on show was a few ducks. Now a adays its got some serious adrenalin junky rides, I went with 8 or so mates although I started drinking at 10 in the morning so by the afternoon when it was time to go on some of the serious rides I had balls of steel.

log flume has gone i think along with the bubble works

but they've got a soaking wet ride which no matter where you sit you'll get soaked. alright for a sunny day as you'll dry off. I went on it at the beginnig of the day and at the end of the day BAD MISTAKE

Yeh me and Dale was talking about Thorpe Park, i am defo up for it... July time would be best = Best chance of weather, no school holiday's... I am happy with Week days or weekends tbh!

Also i think Mart, Big Steve, Duncain etc also went there last year and found a decent place to camp if were up for that to...

Thorpe Park do group savings, book in advance and get it for £23.40 if over 10 of us. But most of the time you will find tesco club card do savings or newspapers do them every now and then.

    Re: feeling alton towers

I went to Alton Towers last year with a group of mates. I went on all the rides but **** my pants several times...

I'm a bit of a pussy with heights, and while I was waiting in the queue for Oblivion we saw it break down with a load full of people hanging over the edge of the big drop, that didn't do my nerves much good. I'm glad I went on it though... My mates said they'd never seen me so white once we got strapped in
