It's something i've been into since about 1993, i bought a set of Technics when i was 19-20 but mixing before then. I really want to get back into it again so i'm on the search for material for a mix set, hence the names above

Fair play fella. I always wanted a set of decks when I was a lad. Look forward to the outcome

I used to be well into bedroom mixing. It became a very expensive hobbie tho.
You cant go wrong with anything from RAM Records, easily my favourite company when it comes to producing DNB. Andy C is a legend

the new prodigy album is very very good, gotta say im fed up of the expression "not as good as the old stuff" well it seems nothing is really according to some people.

Owning every prodigy album and most the singles id say this new album is pretty bloody good, Its a new sound almost, and one they should keep on going with

But of course its personal opinion,

New poster! (less than 10 posts)

I think the new prodigy album is very good, some of the songs have a very old school, or is it skool, flavour. Its deffo one you have to listen to afew times before you make your mind up on tho, a grower as such.

I'm pretty new to dnb so dont know many names so always good to get afew more tracks to check out. The drum and bass area podcasts are good, i'm not a fan of mc'ing tho.

But id be interested in a cd too!

    Re: Drum and Bass mix

Haha, takes me back to Jenkins lane,Barking.....Raindance,went to the first one in 1989 "The summer of love",then continued to spend every weekend for the nxt 3 years in warehouses and tents lol.......whistles,doves,phet,white gloves and boiler suits,av it!good times,Was all just Jungle Music back then tho,now u got so many different styles that have emerged/evolved from Jungle..........World Dance at Lydd Airport in kent used to be good as did Telepathy and A.W.O.L........i think none of those are still going as it all kinda moved into ****ty clubs by about 1993, Raindance still held "birthday raves" in clubs but they were **** compared to the big ol tents in Barking .I saw the Prodigy live at Raindance in 1990,World Dance in "91" and Telepathy in "92"..........Heard the new album recently, not a patch on thier old stuff in my opinion but i guess thats because thier old stuff is sentimental to me and im old and boring now. (still listen to some DnB tho so if ya making a cd i wouldnt mind a listen)
