    typical lowering height with turbines

    just wondering how low to go with my r5, its on turbine alloys with 195/50/15 profile tyres. Suggestions folks as i will be lowering it this weekend.

    40mm is a nice drop on a 5, subtle but not too low

    i quite like it where this sits, im a bit worried that maybe 195/50s are a bit big though and i should of got the 45's

    I'm sure this was a 50-60mm apex spring and koni on the front

    but with 45 profile tyres

    hmm i will have to see what i can get away with, its the rear bumper i dont want it catching and ragging about.

    I have 195/50/15`s on williams wheels which are also 15". Have a look in my profile, the rear bumper is close but doesnt rub....unless going over major bumps etc etc

    I also had 50's on turbines on an old 5 and that was around the same clearance as my currunt on the back and as kris said it'd only rub if it were a fairly bumpy country lane styleee

    ah sweet, i have confidence now then , so you think 50mm drop on the rear would be fine then. Its just that my rear bumper looks so close to the wheel as it is now you see.
