    Re: My Cup Car,

Today (Sunday) i removed the skanky seats
    Replaced with these

I had to replace the nice Grey seats from the White 5 with standard seats... looks like this. I hope Spooky likes them.

Shoppers, if you do get down to see Matt, could you collect the standard exhaust he's got for me please? I'll square you up some fuel money, and Matt, I can Paypal you the money for the exhaust, or reimburse Chris if he squares up with you.

Likewise, I'm after a set of uncut boost hoses.

    And a new gearknob

Nah mate, Billy & I looked into them a good while back. Sure, there are scores of 5's out there with the Coupe badge, but it's not in the same style/font as the UK Coupe/Cup cars badge.

Im feeling that. Ford ST Orange has been done to death now, Dyno-rod orange would be awesome.

Kawazaki green (again, done to death but a MAJOR winner).
Pink (not baby pink, proper bright 'I want to burn your corneas' pink)

    Re: My Cup Car,

Well over the last week or some i started work on my Spare cup wheels,

Sanded them down by hand to remove some old paint, rust etc... then gave it a coating in Rust remover...

Rubbed them down again and primed them..

Then i rubbed them down again and painted with a layer or 2 of silver alloy paint..

    Dont forget the inside to..

All i have to do now is wait for them to dry beofre i laquer them & refit some tyres... job done.

    Re: My Cup Car,

I'm not sure a 50 l compressor will be big enuf mate, we have a 200 ltr at work and that struggles to run a da flat out, also with a small tank you will get paint fade as you spray, the finish on the car will be orange peel style...

My mate had a clever idea of buying a busted 250 ltr compressor and just used it as a tank, so his 50 l was puping flat out but kept the big tank topped up... Might be a idea for you..

Dont get me wrong or anything i know the 50litre isn't ideal for a mint paint job but tbh its only a cup car and for track use only, so not out for looking mint or anything just cleaner...

I have my bids on a very old 250litre air compressor atm... if i get that cheap then jobs a good un, the 50ltr will do for odds and sods.
