    Fuel filters

    Where do you get yours from?
    I bought one with some other stuff from a local bms store.
    Its a 'Fram' filter, but it is tiny compaired to the original.
    Its one of the them clear plastics jobs with an oranage carboard filter.
    Will it do the job?

    They're only good for stivking in-line to the carb, but are a total fire hazzard... no good for the main filter under the car.

    Go to GSF/ECP for a proper filter, they cost feck all.

    Cheers for that tim, Last thing i want is is setting on fire after all problems I have fixed so far.

    Phase 1's have the plastic filter underneath,well all the one's i've had did anyway.

    Plastic ones are ano-no IMO, the number you have is probably Fram G12-1, that is for N/A engines, the no. your after is Fram G3829, or Mann amd Hummel WK830.
