Picked it up earlier this week - not on the road yet as I'm being pissed about with the good old insurance companies but hope to have that sorted and taxed on the 1st! Itching!
i got one bout 3 months ago f cheap and the thing goes like a rocket but i think itd been mapped had a few bits done like new clutch and sone paintwork but i like the thing std great driveable carsIMG_0092.jpg
mines 4 door but i like that has full panoramic roof too😆
the 26 is the best though

I used to have a cooper s with a panoramic roof and I've got to admit I miss it when the weather is like this.
I'm not sure how much longer I can wait to take mine out ha ha.
I'll have to sit in it and make noises.................like I do in the 5

I'll do a progress thread soon as there are a few bits I'd like to sort, front rubber splitter needs putting on, the r26 stickers on the rear quarters are coming off, crappy bee sting aerial and a general tidy up.
I'd love to start coming to the national day again and I suppose the R26 is an acceptably-boosted alternative to my 5.
I'm adamant my 5 will see the road again one day but it's not easy with the kiddiwinks and what not.
In the meantime, I'm sure the meg will more than make up for that!
