    Sachs clutch

Chaps, anyone know what torque this Sachs 3000 962 001 clutch kit is rated too...?

Its supposed to be a Volvo 480 turbo one?

    Cheers,
    Dave

    Re: Sachs clutch

Which company sent you that? I think Eurocarparts did that to me once, I ordered the Valeo one but they sent me Sachs, I just sent it back and ordered the valeo one from Mister Auto.

I dont think the Sachs one is rated very highly.

    Re: Sachs clutch

We used to sell the Sachs clutches at work. Have now gone onto LUK. They are of similar quality but won't hold anything like the valeo one will. But depends on how you drive as well. Seeming that valeo I had was holding fine at 260bhp roughly. Not sure for how long though

Gotta be the Valeo greenbox clutch allday long as tried and tested on tuned 5's.

Just had a reply from ZF who make this clutch:

The maximum permissable torque for this kit is 226Nm with a saftey margin of 25%

    Hope this helps
