Hiya guys. Will there be any stalls for parts for sale for the 5 gt. I've never been before so just wondering ? I desperately need 2 speed line wheels to get these nasty wheels off

Not a great start for me, I'm currently stuck on the M6 waiting for the AA, car just died on me, noticed when I was cranking I couldn't hear the fuel pump. Bridged the wires in the relay and the pump ran but still wouldn't start. There was definitely fuel at the carb. So then checked for spark and that's my problem. I think it's the tdc lead. Will get the AA to run a continuity test and see. If anybody has a spare tdc and king lead they wouldn't mind bringing to pod that would be ace. Will update further when I know what's actually wrong. Just hope I manage to make it.

Drove up to the local premier inn today, car ran good all the way here even in the monsoon rains got about a 1/2 hours drive to pod tomorrow morning so see you all there
just got back in after a 1hr delay cause traffic was bad, id firstly like to say thanx for everyone who attended the pod 1st ND day, well ive never seen so many cars parked on the stand, robbies car performed great all day i think 10.384 sec was the fastest his car ran faultless, a personal best too and btw rob and aud great seeing yas again
also great to put loads of faces to names and again some great people of the clan that ive not had the pleasure of meeting before mainly alex, gtphil, lee, mojo and many others
there wasnt any show n shine in the end as there wasnt any interest which left time for people to do what they wanted, a massive thanx to matt the PFC photographer who took some excellent group photos
ian could you pm me some history of RTOC as they will want it for a cover story..

Must have made a good impression
top day had a great laugh, met loads of people and i think the skips made up the most of any other cars there lol. Shame the car decided not to play ball and died on me during all three attempts, even more thanks to the many many people who towed me on the day lmao. Finally sorted it after everyone had gone turned out to be water leaked on to the coil lead

I rocked up pretty late and couldn't believe how many cars were on the stand. I ended up parked over by a fence

Cracking day, lots of very nice cars all looking very clean and well looked after. Jet car was immense! couple of pics, there's more on the RTOC facebook page. Nice transit snuck in the group shot!
Have to admit was a great day dissapointed I could not run please the car made it to the event in (can't say it made it all the way home but it made 90% of the journey back).
I am just uploading some pic's and videos to my photobucket, doesn't really take into account just how many RTOC car's were on the stand. Next year we should get a couple of big flags and a fence banner aswell, lots of interest from peeps on the car's and some good runs

As mentioned by most a good day out and was good to put some names to faces. The 5 was good aswell. Although I had 0 boost there or back. On the way up I only had part throttle because I'd clamped up the throttle cable without a rubber piece in between the cable and clamp. Thanks Logg for the fix.
So I assumed the 0 boost was because of the lack of throttle. But no on the way home again 0 boost😕 I in my wisdom put the actuator on and put the circlip on over a year ago and then meant too adjust the nuts to the right place to get my desired psi but obviously forgot. I no what a 1.4 non turbo feels like now 😂

A marvellous turn out for the club - I had an ace weekend. I arrived around 11am ish on the Saturday and just about managed to get the tend and gazebo up before it started raining - glad I brought that gazebo.
We all piled in the gazebo and had food and beer while it was raining, some great banter and laughs going on!
Phil turning up on the AA truch was a gem, even better that he manged to beat his PB with a bub 13 second pass........... and was then (eventually) towed home again having cracked a liner. He took it on good spirits though!
Really nice to meet some new faces including the committee guys who I've never met before. Also really nice to catch up with some old friends.
It was the first time I've been to the Retro Show (and the first time I've been to Pod in 10 years) but I'd most definitely go again, I loved the huge variety of cars.
Roll on next year!

Was a great event last Sunday at Retro Show with a fantastic turnout of cars, good to meet some more of you. Looking forward to ND2016 already!
