    custom drive shafts

    First post!

    Hi all im new on here a few people my know me from the facebook group but i'm building a civic type r powered 5.. (I will start a thread on here soon) I'm well on the way now but need to fine a company that can make up custom drive shafts. if anyone knows of a company that is up to the job let me know.. Thanks

    Welcome matey. Really good to have you. that sounds like an awesome conversion to do. You could cut and shut the shafts like most do and see how they go. Speedy on here had some custom shafts made for his cheap and slow clio. I'll ask him who did them

    Brand mechanical engineering in birmingham are good. I had a few gearbox shafts made up by them, for my custom box.

    Been told dave mac's propshaft are good.

    If you are going to be using the Honda Gearbox too, you might try the Driveshaft Shop in the States as they make driveshafts for Hondas rated to 1500bhp! Not sure of they'll be able to cater for the Renault CV Joint at the outboard end, but you'd have to give them a call?....
