    AFR table

Can someone post an AFR target table?
I'm interested about the cruising targets you use.
    I'm using MS2.

    Thanks

    Re: AFR table

cruising could be anywhere between 14:7 and 15,5-16 depending on how the engine will react

    Re: AFR table

I have tried 15,5-16 but then the EGT was a bit high.
My sensor is just behind the turbo and I have seen 750-760C.
By the way, what should be a normal EGT temp?

    Re: AFR table

I think it is way to much. And really depends where is it measured.

So really would like to see some AFR targets and some EGTs from all you c1j EFI users.

    Re: AFR table

Depends on your ignition timing too, if it's too retarded it will have high egt's either way

    Re: AFR table

Wasn't there the standard ignition map/table posted up a couple of years ago somewhere?

Was there also some information in the Xenon 'Upgraded AEI' product thread?

    Might be worth a search.

    Re: AFR table

I think I have seen those.
My focus is the AFR target and EGTs people measure.
But I'm really glad to see other ignition tables. How much they have changed the standard table.
It is hard to find anyone here in Hungary who has experiences with c1j EFI,

sorry that I can't help you any further. Maybe you could ask Scoff if he's willing to send something over ref AFR and EGT??

    Re: AFR table

I'd only like to double check if my afr targets / egt measures are good / safe.
Or I'll ask Scoff if he could travel here to Hungary for a fine tune.

Here's Scoff's Version 'D' std AEI ignition map.

    https://www.rtoc.org/files/Technical%...ff/gtt-map.jpg

I just inputted everything manually and then tweaked the idle to get it stable. I'll try to dig out my map so you can see the tweaks.

    Re: AFR table

Here's a picture of my ignition map. For those that don't know, I'm still running a Carb at the moment and using my MegaSquirt MS1 Extra to control the spark only. In essence, the EFI bit is still running, it's just not connected.

    Re: AFR table

    Thanks Woz!
    I like your idle stabilizing.

I have modifed my AFR. It was quite lean on cruising. High 16s.
I have changed it to high 15s and now car feels much better and even the EGT is a bit lower.
Now I have to play a bit with the acceleration enrichment.
