Its not that bad really, only fun job is popping the top clips off, rest is just screws / bolts and unclipping wiring.

It's not as bad as it looks tbh. I thought OMG the first time I saw the guide too.

Follow it methodically and it's ok

Fancy coming to do mine once you've mastered it dude?

I've had a new heater matrix in the shed for a few years and keep putting it off

The top three are a pain to pop off, middle one and drivers side not so bad as can get in there and leaver it, but the passenger side what a nightmare, cracked my windscreen doing that side, but it was getting binned anyway so no drama.

I usually taken off pair of top dash vent grilles and use large screwdriver to go under holes on dash when vents reside and prise it up and off the dash, I did that yesterday to break the spare car r5 Monaco up, took me 2.5 hours, last I did was over 12 years ago at averaging 1.5 hours lol

Re: Any tips getting dash out

get a long bar and insert it under the dash so it goes right up inside the dash and under the top of the dash near where the clips are then push the dash up to pop it off the clips

I took some pictures and put them on this thread of the clips...
