After all the kerfuffle I would have withdrawn them from sale until it had quietened down a little.

Cheap temperature senders. Assuming of course they are the correct ones for a GTT.

    I've bought this one

    http://www.yoyopart.com/oem/7790648/...tor-53280.html

And they cross ref ok with the same switch temp of 125. (125 deg C for max deflection on the gauge)

Not on ebay but cheap side repeaters

    http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/search/477745001/p/home
    http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/477745001/p/home

Just recieved some, seem decent quality for the money.
Just the lenses not the bulb holder as shown on the website.

Not offered them against my originals yet though.

I didnt realise they came in pairs so i went and ordered 2 like a dope. Oh well you can never have too many spares.

When I looked at these the rubber quality is a very poor fitment, maybe a trim can get these to fit better

Yeah it seems a little baggy if anything I'll have a go at trimming it if it looks dodgy.

Dale was referring to a pair that I bought. As said, it seems some trimming might be required. I've not have a play as yet. The fronts aren't too bad, but they have plastic 'whiskers'

    These should be ok though.

Looks like the current owner is fed up with it and tbh it never seemed like Mark ever had it running exactly right either. The time money and effort spent on this car over the last 10yrs and yet here is an advert where breaking the car is being considered. I think it's just one of 'those' cars

It's those fking vnt's, everyone that's had one claims they're awesome but the 18months of threads that follows why they try and set them up just says avoid..

He doesn't have a clue, should have taken the vnt off and just had a normal turbo.. He may have had be car running some nice normal power.. MB might have enjoyed taking the engine out every month to fix split liners, blown gaskets, but that new guy clearly hasn't got a clue..

    Wrong car, wrong owner..

    He should just break it..

Am I seeing this right, is this a exhaust rear section with no scilencer?

Wonder how loud that would be!!

That is basically what I have at the moment, but I have the centre box fitted. It is not all that loud to be honest.

Any feedback on the noise? I'm on the lookout for an exhaust but don't want anything stupid sounding.

Only reason to go OE is to get the plastic effect behind the paint but that looks like its been painted over loads and lost that.

There are vids of it. I don't have one myself.

It's not too bad. Kind of like a sidey but out the back as no second box.
It sounds mad on over run in the vids.
