National day , pod , sangliers , national day was not very good last year.what did the committee do ?
National day was organised by big Steve who was on the committee at the time. The pod day on the same weekend was organised by ross on the committee and I believe sangliers is big Steve's we also did PPC event and then some members organised track days and so on. I don't think that's too bad

There's going to need some goodwill building on allsides before all this gets resolved. The
thing that really disturbs me is that there a very few posters that seem to be forthcoming
with that goodwill. Do people with an axe to grind really not see the harm they are doing?

I do/retract my statement about pm's being read. I know they can't really be read (although that could easily be changed if really needed)....
The other loophole is exactly that, to change a members password to access their account, but the member would know something is up as when they next log in the old password wouldn't work and they would have to ask for a new password to be emailed.
As far as I am aware the committee do not read pm's. Adey now knows his pm's wernt read and knows his account has been restricted (this thread need not have happened of somebody had informed Adey about this...
Mate that wasn't the original issue, and 2 days ago it wasn't restricted some one was going in and changing stuff, yet that hasn't been answered in the slightest? the rest of the thread has been blown way out of proportion and I've ended up a restricted member for setting up another site. I still wasn't directly contacted to tell me who was going in and why it happened and I've asked to be contacted yet again and still seem to be getting ignored I can only think that some people have it in for me, I mean I was even getting sworn at by a moderator in here. Really is a sad state of a affairs when a member of the club is treated like this. This thread can now be locked down or whatever I won't be posting in it again, not like anything was actually resolved or sorted so why waste my breath any further trying to sort it as if you do stand up and say anything you only get dragged into being part of some secret agenda people think is going on

Yes. This clarifies that there was no going behind the Committee's back with my actions of PM'ing everyone (Including Committee members) who showed an interest in going to Sangliers in 2014 and informing them that moving forwards I would be providing updates in an alternative place and not on RTOC.

This Thread has done nothing but damage both websites reputation as they apprear to be run by egotistical megalomaniac child like keyboard warriors.

Its time to all grow up and move on. If someone wants to start another site then they are perfectly entitled to do so. Ethically maybe it should not be advertised on here as that's just taking the p1ss! The only aim of this that I can see is to rub people up the wrong way purposely.

Ian- ignoring our own special relationship, you come across as elitist and seem to think we're all below you. I would like nothing more than to see someone relieve you of your workload across the management line of the club, something which an active chairman and a reorganisation would do. There is enough people here willing to help to spread the load IF someone communicates, organises, prioritises and delegates. If this position is making you sick then the other CM's should absolutely do something about it, they are letting you down. The above is not a suggestion that you are removed from the CM, just that you are supported and workload reduced.
Other CM's: Your hearts are in the right place, but look around you. We're in the middle of a civil war, so to speak. Things like this don't come about lightly, it takes a long period of discontent. Look at the unhappy people, key, core long standing and respected members of the club and scene....this isn't just causing upset for the sake of a laugh, it's not trolling, these are dedicated people on both sides that care about whats going on here. Sick of it? Yeah, hell yeah, me too.... ask yourselves why this keeps coming back and coming back and coming back!
I have no doubt that if this is resolved to a satisfactory level, the competing site will be removed. All that goes away and all that resource could be redirected here. If you choose to make everybody happy, then Mart, Steve, Adey, and all the other protagonists efforts will turn positive. Why would you not want this? Can you not see that you guys are as much part of the problem as we are?
Democratically elect a new chairman (unless Miller is going to rejoin the fold and has the time to resume the position properly)
Chairman summarises current landscape, tasks, roles and then redefines roles and reassigns- if more than one person wants each role then a vote is cast as above. This can be an open discussion with everyone, if so desired.
From therein the chairman can manage the team of CM's. Fill in gaps, assist, support, resolve, develop.
