    Afrs Leaning

Afrs on the 5 have always been pretty much spot on,

Doing a motorway drive this evening (120 miles) I noticed at around 65/70 afrs crept up to around 1:15.9 after around an hour or so off driving and when i stopped at the destination on tick over they had reached the late 16s. Anyone got any ideas

    Re: Afrs Leaning

Idle should be about 13.5/14.5 afr, your mixture screw should change this for you, might have leaned off because the screw is loose or you have an air leak, or the idle jet needs cleaning.

As for the 60/70mph afrs I wouldn't worry about that to much unless it was overly rich, like say 10/11 afr. If it was to lean it wouldn't run correctly.
