    Missfire when hot?

Hi all. Cars fine when first started up and fine when driving. Except when on boost it's very hesitant (another problem) but when it's hot, under light throttle it miss fires and can't drive it at all chucking me back and forth. Has anyone had this problem? I Deffo don't think it's down to fuel?

sounds like an ignition problem... leads/plugs dizzy cap/rotor.

I have put on a 90 degree dizzy cap but can't see that causing it if it's new? I'll swap it back and try it.

Any ideas on the hesitation on boost? My afr is reading in the 11's so can't see it being carb emptying. Wonder if it's not getting a good enough spark and getting spark blow?

more boost the worse it gets with dodgy ignition. first time it happened to me I nearly head butted the steering wheel lol.

So this could all be linked then. Best try new tdc. Leads. Plugs and dizzy. Something must cure it lol

what plugs you using? pull them out and have a look at the colour, this will help diagnose if its a fueling issue, also close the gap on the plug , you maybe blowing out the spark depending on boost being run.

after that try tdc pick ,end could be loosing signal higher rpm maybe.

just re read the thread, scrap the fueling bit
