hello...im back

hello folks.well this will be a long one...ish
i was a member a few years back some of you may know me? i used to go by the username dgdogz.
im based in glasgow and i had an 89 blue/purple ph2 r5 gt turbo.
i spent a fortune on the thing and the biggest portion of my life trawling this site and others everyday it was a weird obsession...im sure we all have the same problem
after bringing my little baby to a crowning glory i split up with my ex and in a moment of ridiculous madness i sold the thing
since then ive been married and had 2 kids but all ive done and i mean ALL ive done is go on and on about r5's. ive even got a lovely gt turbo tattoo which made me feel a lot better for a few months about not having one
after a good handful of practical but ridiculously awful cars amonth or 2 ago i got a fabia vrs, long story short 3 weeks in my wife had a wee accident and wrote it off.
THAT WAS IT, R5 TIME!
a smashing little beauty popped up on sunday and i just had to have it. so after running around and a 5 hour round trip i got myself a decent running g reg ph2.
pics of that will follow.
but to say im happy is an under statement. when i get pics of it i will post them but im back and im thrilled to death about it.
this will be a slow project for me and i will be taking more of my time doing the work myself as the last one i threw RIDICULOUS amounts of money at it at the time.

Well I assume it's you and not someone the previous owner ran over who then got welded to the side of the car and was difficult to remove like an insect off a windscreen
