    idle valve

    hi does anyone have diagram to show were the idle valve should be plumbed into on the b18ft engine

    depends on what engine version you have... I believe there where 2 types, one having a diaphragm valve attached to it and supplying air from before the turbo and the other type lacking a diaphragm valve and supplying air from after the turbo (just before the throttle). If I'm not mistaken the first type I mentioned had an idle control valve with inlet and outlet ports perpendicular to one another and the other type had it's ports parallel and opposite to each other.

    its the first one i think, plumed it in and seems to idle better but does seems to run quite rich it has a screw on the afm is this for adjasting the fueling

    Yes adjusting the maf will help with idle fueling and up to about a bar of boost.

    turned out it was leaking air re-sealed the throttle bodie and inlet, and its running a lot better now
