    First post!

    Hello all,

The Renault 5 GT Turbo has been my one and only dream car since a teenager, specifically Tungsten grey and completely standard. Now at 28 I've decided the time is right to make my dreams of owning one come true... so I'm still working on it!

Cheers boys, Finally inspired and getting on with finding a good one before they're all gone! Haha
Very impressed with the 5 turbo community and hope to contribute back once I know my stuff too, I love to learn and want to know the 5 to every last bolt if you know what I mean, I'm sure many do anyways. I've never been interested in cars, only the 5.. Having never owned one, my experience is little, used to play around with my rs125, rotax 122 engine but that's about it, so will be an interesting journey for me; buying tools, equipment.. Thinking of a portable canopy for outside storage and to work under in bad weather... Unfortunately I do not have a garage so know I'll be up against it as my daily commute also.
    Any local 5's to me?

Living in Pontypridd, working in Llandeilo, be good to get to see some local 5's soon

Aye the Aprilia served me well, blew up whilst still under warranty, no problems other than when drivers reversed into her, writing her off twice! First time snapped kick stand bolt hole on frame; cat c, rebuilt onto new frame from eBay, later found that frame bent at the front and rebuilt again, good times!
