    Newbie saying hello!

    First post!

    Hi guys,

I've been a member of Cliosport.net for years but seen as I have a turbo'd Clio 172 cup, I thought this might be a place to talk turbo and boost over CS.

My first turbo engine was a megane 225 and Clio 182 hybrid using the 182 block to allow me to use the clios jc5 box and then everything was from a 225 including, pistons, rods, crank, head, turbo, inlet and exhaust manifolds and injectors. Had it mapped by Scoff (what a legend he's been!) but then had a bad oil leak during mapping and had to stop at 237bhp using an Adaptronic 420c ecu.

After fixing up the hybrid engine I decided to go fully forged with a gt2860rs turbo, 630cc injectors and custom inlet manifold so sold the engine and am building the new one just now.

Hopefully gain some useful turbo knowledge from you lot and hints and tips on how to get the most from the car.

    Cheers,
    Steven

Got the laminova for a good price and easier to plumb in than air cooled so made sense. Never used an air cooled oil cooler in the car so not sure how they compare but on mocal site it says this size is comparable with a 13 row cooler.

Cheers for the comments on the tart of a bay. Hope the new one looks as good!

Yeah, broke the original cup splitter off when I spun off at knockhill so made that up as a replacement. Not sure what it does in down force but like the way it looks!
